As confirmed by the Los Angeles Lakers over the weekend, Brandon Ingram will miss the remainder of the 2019-19 National Basketball Association season after tests revealed Deep Venous Thrombosis (DVT) or blood clots in his arm.
Ingram played a pair of games for the Lakers past year, racking up 32 minutes per game and 12 points per game on 47 percent shooting (not to mention 56 percent shooting from deep).
Ingram was diagnosed with DVT upon further testing by the team's medical staff on Friday.
Female Marvel superhero tops weekend box office
Wonder Woman , the first female-led film in the DC Extended Universe, broke records when it opened in 2017. Just to be clear, there will be big spoilers for Captain Marvel in the video below.
The Los Angeles Lakers have been in a real slump as they've lost nine of their last 11 games and they will be hoping to snap a five-game skid after falling short against the Celtics in a 120-107 home loss on Saturday.
Ingram had missed the past two games after Walton said he had difficulty raising his arm without pain.
While this season is pretty much over in what has been a brutal first year in LA for LeBron, he was able to bounce back with a huge night against the Bulls, finishing with 36 and 10 rebounds in a win that snapped a five-game skid. "All I'm going to say on him right now is that he's out for the rest of the season".
Detroit Lions make ferocious statement with Trey Flowers signing
The Dolphins saved $6 million in salary-cap space by releasing Amendola, who signed a two-year deal last March for $12 million. Amendola's best season actually came with the Rams back in 2010, when he caught 85 passes for 689 yards and 3 TDs.
"He's pretty upbeat under the circumstances, obviously", James said of the former No. 2 overall draft pick.
Prominent athletes such as Chris Bosh and Serena Williams have been affected by blood clots in recent years. With James the rest of the season the Lakers are 24-24.
The Lakers, who trailed by as many as 20 early in the second quarter, went ahead for the first time since making the first basket of the game when Kuzma put in a layup for a 66-64 lead with 8:48 left in the third quarter. An injury on Christmas day kept him out of play until January 29, 2019.
Trump 2020 budget projects big deficits despite spending cuts
The budget imposes work requirements for those receiving food stamps and other government aid as part of the cutbacks. Veterans' healthcare receives $80 billion, and $4.8 billion is allocated to fight America's ongoing opioid epidemic.
And with the likes of Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball shut down for the season, plus LeBron James' new minutes restriction, Andre Ingram should be in line for quite a few minutes. As with Ball, it's unclear if he'll be back in a Lakers uniform next season, and Magic Johnson is expected to make some big changes to the Lakers lineup this summer.
