N. Korea may be preparing a missile or space launch

North Korea-focused website 38 North says commercial satellite images from March 6 indicate that the launch site appears to have returned to "normal operational status" after rapid construction there.

North Korea may be preparing for a missile or space launch, United States news outlet NPR has reported, based on satellite image analysis of a key facility near Pyongyang.

USA analysts have said North Korea appears to have restored normal operations at a long-range rocket launch site it had partially dismantled a year ago as part of disarmament steps.

Following the stalemate in Hanoi, researchers said this week that Pyongyang had started rebuilding the Sohae long-range rocket site after Kim had agreed a year ago to shut it as part of confidence-building measures.

It quoted Mr Suh as saying North Korea continued to run its uranium enrichment facility at the main Yongbyon nuclear complex after the first summit between Mr Trump and its leader, Kim Jong-un, in June in Singapore.
