The young mother who died after falling down the subway stairs in midtown did not sustain significant trauma and the fall may have been caused by a pre-existing medical condition, according to New York City's medical examiner. She was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Goodson's death remains under investigation and an autopsy will later determine her exact cause of death.
Shams Tarek, an MTA spokesman, said the station where Goodson fell does have escalators.
Ander Herrera and Victor Lindelof the real stars of Manchester United's revival
Manchester United caretaker manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hailed Alexis Sanchez and says he has taken a big step forward.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help support Goodson's daughter Rhylee. Her daughter was unharmed. According to the New York Times, only about 25 percent of them have elevators. They said she was a vibrant young woman devoted to her family, especially her daughter. Only about a quarter of the city's 472 subway stations have elevators, and the elevators that do exist are often out of service.
The station where the accident occurred does not have an elevator and only has one escalator going up. The few elevators sprinkled throughout the system are frequently out of service, hard to access, undersized or otherwise noxious, leaving disabled city residents at the mercy of city buses or the dysfunctional Access-a-Ride system, which can involve hours-long waits and no-shows.
The MTA called the incident "heartbreaking" and said it has already approved a plan to install 50 new elevators in stations across the city.

Goodson, who's originally from the Bronx but lived with her mother in Stamford, Connecticut, apparently shielded the stroller as she crashed to the bottom of the last flight of stairs.
Mayor de Blasio issued a statement about the matter.
The MTA is forever facing budget shortfalls after decades of mismanagement and corruption, and its oversight by state rather than city government - whose offices are located hours away from any subway stations - means funding is often an afterthought.

Arctic air then builds over the region into Thursday , which is likely to be the coldest day of the winter so far. Temperatures in central IL bottomed out even lower at the same time, with Rochelle getting down to minus 23.
Corey Johnson, the NYC Council Speaker, wrote, "The lack of accessibility in our subways is literally killing people". After the incident, Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) officials inspected the stairs, railing, and floor and didn't find any issues.
