Samsung set to launch 5G phone with Verizon in early 2019

On Monday, Verizon announced that it's partnering with Samsung in order to bring a 5G device to market in early 2019. But as I said, Qualcomm will offer the chip sans-5G parts, so it's not as though you'll be buying a phone with a bunch of wasted technology inside.
