Amazon to split HQ2 between two cities, WSJ reports

Employees at Amazon's (AMZN) main campus in Seattle will be offered the chance to relocate. In its original request for proposals, Amazon said it would pay workers at its new offices an average annual compensation of more than $100,000, making them better off than many New Yorkers. Each new office will bring 25,000 new jobs to whichever cities Amazon chooses.
