Liverpool could have easily beaten Arsenal - Robertson

It was a measure of how much Arsenal have changed in just a few months under Unai Emery that the head coach's reaction to a sliding tackle was nearly as wild as when Alexandre Lacazette scored their late equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Liverpool.

In contrast to their last visit to the Emirates when they conceded three times in five minutes, Liverpool needed to show their new-found defensive resolve as a confident Arsenal started the brighter.

But while the game was a fun, intense contest for the neutral, the Liverpool manager spent much of the first half in a state of agitation, unhappy with what he deemed a substandard display from his team.

In the second half, Arsenal were looking the more likely to make the breakthrough, but it was Liverpool who took the lead on 61 minutes.

The Reds also looked shaky at the back, with the trio of Pierre Emerick Aubamenyang, Henrikh Mkhitariyan and Alexander Lacazette coming close to breaking the deadlock. City and Chelsea are in the same boat, and this latest result keeps the pressure on those two challengers.

Officials say gunmen opened fire on the Christians who were returning from baptizing a child at a Coptic monastery. The public prosecutor said a team of investigators has been dispatched to the scene of the attack to investigate.

Unai Emery, all people in football knew how good he is, but I am not sure all Arsenal fans were over the moon at first when they heard it would be Emery.

The Premier League's game of the week, Liverpool at Arsenal, was a frantic match with plenty of chances.

One of his main strengths is in attack too and against Arsenal he rarely made a difference in the final third. It looked like an attempt to fight fire with fire and the quartet managed to peg Liverpool back for large parts of the game and limit the opportunities for the visitors' forwards to shine.

"For the supporters it is a great match and a good spectacle, but I am only 50 percent happy because we wanted to win".

Unfortunately, there have also been some tough times, and Sunday's 1-1 draw with Arsenal was certainly one of those.

Him and JaVale go at it every day when we practice. "The numbers say we're 11th but it doesn't feel like it, but we are". So if I'm talking, I'm going to explain myself no matter what the situation is.

However, TV replays showed that the goal should have counted, as Mane checked his run to remain behind the ball when Firmino squared it across the box.

Arsenal haven't led at half-time in any of their 11 Premier League matches so far this season.

"We lost a poor goal from our point of view".

He may not have the individual accolades and statistics of that calibre, of player, but in terms of attitude, work rate, leadership and professionalism, Milner will go down as one of the most consummate professionals to have laced up their boots in this league.
