Authorities on Thursday found two packages that appeared to contain pipe bombs addressed to former Vice President Joe Biden and actor Robert De Niro, setting off a new wave of alarm amid probe into similar devices sent to prominent Democrats and critics of President Donald Trump.
Suspicious packages was also sent to Cuomo's New York City office, Congressman Debbie Wasserman Schultz's office in Sunrise, Florida, and San Diego Union Tribune as well as Eric Holder, former U.S. Attorney General but to a wrong address.
The first bomb was discovered Monday in a mailbox at the NY home of billionaire financier and Democratic Party supporter George Soros.
This is the suspect device the so-called MAGA bomber sent to Robert De Niro's NY restaurant disguised as a package from a top Democrat politician.
"I have been informed by U.S. Capitol Police that my Washington, DC office was the target of a suspicious package that has been referred to the FBI", Waters said in a statement on October 24.
"The utilization of violence in order to further one's own political agenda is unacceptable", said FBI Special Agent Bryan Paarmann.
Changing story again, Saudi Arabia says killing was planned
Khashoggi, 59, was a contributing opinion writer for The Post who was living in Virginia after leaving Saudi Arabia because of fear about his safety.
House and Senate Democratic leaders Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer issued even stronger statements, connecting Trump's rhetoric to the neo-Nazi violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, last year, as well as to violence against protesters at his rallies and more.
At a Wisconsin rally Wednesday night Trump called attention to "how nice I'm behaving tonight" but on Thursday morning he attacked the media.
'It has gotten so bad and hateful that it is beyond description. "Mainstream Media must clean up its act, FAST!"
Postal workers found the package at the Los Angeles Central Mail facility on Central Avenue near 66th Street.
Then came the packages sent to Brennan and CNN, Waters, former Vice President Joe Biden and the actor Robert de Niro.
"These are not hoax devices", FBI Director Chris Wray said. The bomb squad removed the package at 6:30 a.m. and transported it to the NYPD's bomb disposal facility in the Bronx, New York.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility. Republican Party efforts at voter suppression have made for a tense climate that President Donald Trump has worsened by insinuating that Democrats, whom he calls an "angry, leftist mob", may commit voter fraud.
How long does "Red Dead Redemption 2" take to download?
Still, there have been rumors this time around too , with mentions of Red Dead Redemption 2 PC popping up every once in a while. Simply put this is one of the best looking console games of all time and it truly shines on Microsoft's Xbox One X and PS4 Pro.
"Suffice it to say, it appears an individual or individuals sent out multiple, similar packages", said John Miller, the New York Police Department's head of intelligence and counterterrorism, who briefed reporters.
Democratic Representative Maxine Waters said in a statement on Wednesday that US Capitol Police said that her Washington, DC, office was the target of a suspicious package that was referred to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
"The president is certainly not responsible for sending suspicious packages to someone no more than Bernie Sanders was responsible for a supporter of his shooting up a Republican baseball field practice a year ago".
"There's a rich treasure trove of forensic information since they were found intact", Doherty said.
A Wasserman Schultz district office in South Florida was listed as the return address on the packages, in what current and former investigators said was a feint suggesting particular antipathy on the part of the bomber toward her.
"Don't let the terrorists win", he said.
