Jamill Jones, 35, is accused of punching a tourist in the face, who later died. According to multiple reports, Szabo knocked on multiple vehicle windows while looking for an Uber. Szabo was reportedly banging on cars before the incident, including Jones'.

A spokesman for Wake Forest said university officials are aware of the arrest.

Jones turned himself in on Thursday morning while accompanied by his lawyer after fleeing the scene on Sunday.

Chelsea rival Liverpool as Fekir says 'anything can happen - and quickly'
France Football are reporting that Fekir could complete a move to Stamford Bridge by Thursday when the transfer window closes. It was Liverpool who looked to be the front-runner in securing Fekir's services with a reported fee of £53 million.

Wake Forest University said Thursday night that they had just learned of Jones' arrest and would release a statement at a later time.

Szabo, of Boca Raton, was hospitalized in critical condition and died two days later, according to his employer in Florida. The assistant coach's next court appearance is scheduled for October 2, according to the Post.

Police say the coach got out, followed Szabo to the sidewalk, clocked him and sped off. The head of the victim, Sandor Szabo, "hit the pavement when he fell back and he lost consciousness", NY police said in a statement to USA TODAY Sports. The investigation is ongoing. He's due in court October 2. His attorney, Alain Massena, said in a statement: "The court made the proper ruling with the charges, and the District Attorney's office made the proper ruling with the charges".
