TimeandDate.com has set up a live-stream of the event, in case you are unable to view it first-hand.

The Weather Channel will be live streaming the lunar eclipse on its smartphone app beginning at 4 p.m.

There will also be some time before and after when the moon is in the lighter part of Earth's shadow, which is called the penumbra.

The moon does not completely disappear in a total lunar eclipse, however, because the light reflected from the lunar surface is refracted by the Earth's atmosphere.
