During a joint press conference in London with British Prime Minister Theresa May, Trump bristled at a question from NBC News reporter Kristen Welker and refused to take one from an insistent Jim Acosta of CNN.
Donald Trump used a global platform on Friday to blast CNN and NBC, the two television networks he most loves to hate, as "dishonest" and 'fake news'. In denying a query from CNN anchor Jim Acosta, Trump said that "CNN is fake news". He then called on John Roberts of Fox again, saying he was from "a real network".
"So amusing! I just checked out Fake News CNN, for the first time in a long time (they are dying in the ratings), to see if they covered my takedown yesterday of Jim Acosta (actually a nice guy)", Trump tweeted Saturday. "To say that they are not a real network or "fake news" is also unfair", he said.

But there were also plenty of people who tweeted support for Sanders, calling Acosta "rude" and "unprofessional".
Trump went on the offensive after NBC's White House correspondent Kristen Welker asked a question about North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and the upcoming summit in Helsinki, Finland.
Roberts, a veteran of CBS News and CNN, took some withering criticism online for not standing up for Acosta in the moment or, perhaps, ceding the microphone to his colleague.
Manafort No Longer Wants To Move Jails While He Awaits Trial
Truesdale Adult Detention Center - Thursday morning, according to a spokesperson for the Alexandria Sheriff's Office. Manafort asked for the delay on the grounds he has been unable to prepare for his trial properly since being jailed.
Huckabee Sanders reacted by rage-tweeting about how a reporter "disrespected" Trump and that the White House would not be "rewarding bad behavior" and instead would "reprioritize the TV appearances for administration officials". She's as honest as the day is long.
"To issue a blanket condemnation of the network as "fake news" is also unfair". "And she's a total professional because when I saw her this morning I said, "I want to apologize because I said such good things about you", and she said, "don't worry, it's only the press".
"That's not what I said". Acosta can be heard asking during the question-and-answer portion of the presser.
