E3 2018: Ghost of Tsushima is a samurai slasher for Sony's PS4

13 June 2018

After an intermission as journalists were shuffled into a different room (during which we saw e.g. a recap of games Sony had already announced), we got a shakuhachi performance, similar to The Last of Us II having a banjo perfomance from Gustavo Santaolalla before its gameplay earlier.

The video is recorded from the demo that is playable on the show floor at E3 2018 in Los Angeles, and it looks absolutely incredible. It's reminiscent of the likes of the PS2's Spider-Man 2, one of the most beloved movie tie-in games ever, albeit much more technically accomplished and utilizing the full capabilities of the PS4.

Here’s why the AT&T-Time Warner merger just got approved
After a federal judge ruled on Tuesday that AT&T could buy Time Warner , investors poured into some stocks while unloading others. Comcast said it is confident it will win regulatory approval and that its new offer "fully addresses" the stated concerns.

Even though Sony just delivered a nine-minute gameplay trailer for Ghost of Tsushima, there's still a lot we don't know about it.

The studio behind Max Payne, Alan Wake, and Quantum Break is now hard at work on Control, a third-person shooter with some excellently psychadelic visuals.

North Korea's Kim lands in Singapore ahead of summit with Trump
Rodman has traveled to North Korea in the past and seems to have struck up an unlikely friendship with the North Korean leader. He also spoke of how happy he was that Trump had agreed to meeting with Kim, which no US president has done before.

Among the new IP was the open-world samurai game Ghost of Tsushima, which looks both gorgeous and loads of fun. We'll find out when Spider-Man hits PS4 on September 7. As we were told when Ghost of Tsushima was first revealed, the game is set during the first Mongol invasion of Japan in 1274 and is set on the island of Tsushima (at least, that seems to be a fair assumption given its title). This new trailer also included plenty of cinematic moments, and revealed two more actors in Death Stranding's star-studded cast: Lea Seydoux and Lindsay Wagner. Because of this, many of us can't wait for it to come out. Electro was the cause of all the commotion, releasing loads of criminals that attacked Spidey for some very Batman: Arkham-esque combat. On top of that, the gameplay trailer also introduces the five villains that will be in the game - and one mysterious one. Spidey has to deal with a breakout at The Raft, the Marvel Universe's prison for supervillains, and faces up to plenty of familiar foes, including The Scorpion, The Vulture, Rhino, Electro and relative newcomer Mr Negative. Our guess is on Doctor Octopus or the Green Goblin. It was impressive and the flawless demo for a game that is surely at the top of many people's wish lists.

He also said the US had a trade deficit of $17 billion with Canada, though he implied that it might be as large as $100 billion. John McCain, who is often aligned with Graham, pushed back Saturday against Trump's refusal to sign the G-7 statement .
