Ebola outbreak kills 17 in Congo: health ministry

Yesterday (8th May 2018), the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo declared a new outbreak of Ebola in the rural northwest of the country.

"Our country is facing another epidemic of the Ebola virus, which constitutes an worldwide public health emergency", the ministry added in a statement.
