"When he was seeing that situation - you can imagine, when you're on the starting grid, and you have 20 riders behind with engines on, you want to be in the same position".

The tricky weather conditions in Argentina led to chaotic scenes before the race even began, as Jack Miller was the only rider to make the decision to change to slick tyres in time.

When asked about the Italian's comments, Marquez said he was "completely disappointed".

Spain's Marquez finished in 18th after being given a 30-second penalty for clashing with Rossi as he tried to overtake during the race, which was won by Britain's Cal Crutchlow. "She's a rocket when she needs to get going", he said of his bike.

Kimi Raikkonen rues Q3 traffic after missing out on Bahrain pole
In a further boost for Ferrari, the aging Kimi Raikkonen has looked sharp all weekend, leading the second and third practice. Bottas was happy to bounce back after his confidence-sapping crash in qualifying in Australia two weeks ago.

There was much drama at the start of the race as it started raining 15 minutes before the scheduled start. Following him were Dani Pedrosa of Honda, Tito Rabat of Avintia Racing, Alex Rins and Marc Marquez.

Meantime, at the front, the battle for the win was intensifying between Zarco, Crutchlow and Rins, while Miller dropped back a little owing to a mistake. The reigning MotoGP world champion, battling the mixed conditions, endured a clash of fairing with Aprilia's Aleix Espargaro, before dropping one place for the incident. Marquez, however, quickly caught him and took the lead.

Last year's victor Maverick Vinales (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) finished 0.067 ahead of his teammate Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP), while Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar) propelled himself into eighth right at the end of the day.

The fight at the front, meanwhile, had become a three-way debate as Miller lost touch with Crutchlow, Zarco and Rins. Because the press flocked to Marquez and Rossi after the Argentina Grand Prix, and many were missing from the post-race conference, the race victor, LCR Honda Castrol's Cal Crutchlow, had some negative words for the press.

Tony Cottee: 'West Ham United were poor against Chelsea'
Like the last weeks again, we give them a gift. "I could accept conceding from some of their great play but the goal was so poor". His disenchantment is spreading to supporters who booed at the final whistle.

Rossi, who was not present in the garage for Marquez's visit later labeled his efforts a Public Relations stunt and suggested the Honda rider is not truly apologetic, and that it was only done for the attention of the television cameras.

Qatar race victor Francesco Bagnaia recovered from 15th on the grid, but could only manage ninth - leaving him six points adrift in the Championship - and Marcel Schrotter rounded out the top 10.

Having caught up with Rossi, he then divebombed the Italian into the Turn 13 right-hander, causing Rossi to take to the grass off the circuit and fall off his bike. Wth the win, Crutchlow also took the lead in the overall standings, taking a three-point lead over Andrea Dovizioso.

The last race in Qatar witnessed a final lap thrilling finish and the same can be expected here.

Third synthetic marijuana user dies in IL after severe bleeding
The patients are believed to have been exposed to brodifacoum, a pesticide widely used as rat poison that causes severe bleeding. The chemicals are similar to those found in natural marijuana. "We are telling people don't use synthetic cannabinoids".

LCR Honda's Cal Crutchlow will start from 10th on the grid whereas Aprilla's Alexis Espargaro and Suzuki's Andrea Iannone will start from 7th and 12th on the grid respectively. "Marquez is always there, Rossi nearly always".
