ISIS Gunmen Slaughter Christian Family In Pakistan

The family had been visiting relatives for the celebration in the Shahzaman road area of Quetta, according to Reuters. He was inside the house when the attack took place.

A statement issued by the group claimed that militants belonging to ISIS fired on the group of Christians as they were travelling in the city of Quetta, killing four on Monday. Police said at the time that the death toll could have been higher if it wasn't for the actions of security forces who took out other attackers on the scene. "The bodies are being sent back to Lahore for burial".

In one such instance, ISIS-linked Islamist suicide bombers attacked a church in southwest Pakistan in December of 2017.

According to Pakistan's Express Tribune, roughly 2 percent of Pakistan's population is Christian.
