Amazon Wants Alexa to Put Language Translators Out of Business

Users of Amazon's popular voice assistant may have noticed this morning that Alexa isn't working for them.

According to the report, Amazon's team never pointed fingers at company CEO Jeff Bezos, but Nest employees reportedly ended the call under the impression that the decision came from Bezos.

The website Downdetector.com, which tracks and documents technology issues, reported witnessing a sharp increase in user problems with Alexa beginning at 11:23 a.m.

Yahoo's anonymous sources also discussed the physical Alexa device. The ability to translate may be enhancedas the feature becomes even more intelligent.
