Jio slashes JioPhone plan to Rs 49 from Rs 153

Indian telecom operator Reliance Jio has announced a new Rs. 49 plan that offers free voice calls and unlimited data for 28 days. The new tariff plan will be available for all JioPhone users from Friday.

Besides, the telco as part of its "Republic Day offer" will double the validity of Rs 98 pack to 28 days from the current 14 days from January 26 onwards, they said. Similarly, customers shall also benefit from free, unlimited voice calls (local, STD and roaming).

Next up are the existing 1.5GB data per day plans, which will offer 2GB data per day come January 26. It slashed the price by Rs 50 and introduced 1.5GB per day plans. Now users are getting 1GB of data daily in this plan.

Rs 399 and Rs 449 Plan: Reliance Jio's Rs 399 and Rs 449 plans will now offer an aggregate of 126GB and 136GB data individually, at 1.5GB every day.

Similarly, the company has slashed the price of its most popular of Rs 399 plan and it is now available at Rs 349.

With the Rs 399 plan, Jio users get 1GB daily data, with a validity of 84 days.

Similarly, 1.5GB per day plans are priced at Rs. 198, Rs. 398, Rs. 448 and Rs. 498 plans.

By making changes in the Jio offers and providing more Internet data facilities will attract more people to switch to Jio.
