"Game of Thrones" will conclude its momentous run with a six-episode wrap in 2019, HBO announced Thursday. Writers for the season include Weiss and Benioff, along with Bryan Cogman and Dave Hill.

Actors and others who work on the show have suggested that Season 8's episodes - and thus the length of the shoot - will be the longest Game Of Thrones has ever had. "Whereas before, every year there's always been a bit of pressure, this season is one where we could easily let people down".

The sources report that all our favorite main cast-members will be there for the final episode of the series.

The final season of the show is currently in production so there will be plenty of time to try to spoil how it all shakes out between now and then.

Without naming Finch, police later said that a man emerged from the house and was repeatedly ordered to put his hands up. The officer who fired the shot, a seven-year veteran of the department, is on paid leave pending the investigation.

I guess until 2019 fans will just have to keep rewatching all the past seasons. Some of its seven episodes were more than an hour long.
