Jameis Winston To Miss "A Couple Of Weeks" With Injured Shoulder

07 November 2017

Winston did not play in the second half of the Bucaneers' 30-10 loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday after landing on his right shoulder following a tackle.

Iraqi Forces Recapture More Territory from ISIS in Anbar
Deir Ezzor had been divided into government-held and ISIS-held parts for almost three years. He estimated there were 1,500-2,500 fighters left in al-Qaim and 2,000-3,000 in Albu Kamal.

Winston initially sustained an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder in a 38-33 loss at the Arizona Cardinals on October 15. The AC joint sprain has caused Winston to miss practice time ever since, typically preventing him from throwing most days leading up to games.

Before this week, Winston had only thrown one day a week because of the injury. The Bucs are 2-6 and effectively eliminated from NFC South contention; Ryan Fitzpatrick will now be running the show in Tampa. Winston first sustained the shoulder injury in Week 6 and has seen his effectiveness wane in the last two games, completing 54.9 percent of his passes and throwing no touchdowns against two interceptions.
