The tiger escaped from a truck belonging to Feld Entertainment, the people who ran Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey before it shut down. "It was a tiger on the far side, closest to my house", she said.

The tiger was part of a shipment headed to Tennessee from Florida.
