'Peed-off' La Liga boss angers Manchester City

08 September 2017

Manchester City's owners are reportedly prepared to take legal action by suing La Liga president Javier Tebas after he accused the club of financial doping.

The Ligue de Football Professionel (LFP) has given its backing to PSG, who are owned by Qatar Sports Investments, a Doha-based sovereign wealth fund. "These past few years Manchester City have paid out almost a thousand million on players, PSG £950m".

La Liga made two requests on 22 August that UEFA probe PSG and City, laying out the financials of both clubs, which it argues have "no basis in the realities of the market".

In response to Mr Tebas' comments, the CFG said on Wednesday evening: "Mr Tebas' statements are ill-informed and in parts pure fiction".

Tiger on the loose near Atlanta killed by police
Motorists spotted the tiger early Wednesday along the interstate in Stockbridge, southeast of Atlanta , Henry County police said. Brittney Speck, the homeowner in question, awoke to high-beam lights shining through her windows at shortly before 6:30 a.m.

The head of Spanish football's top flight, continued: "It is not just about PSG but also Manchester City".

"Everybody knows this and it is damaging football because then you get Real (Madrid), Barca (Barcelona), Bayern (Munich), (Manchester) United, Juve (Juventus) and all the big clubs saying to their leagues and UEFA, "Give me more TV money, otherwise City with its oil will take all our players". This summer, the club spent £215m on recruitment, more than any club in any transfer window - if the fee PSG are committed to pay for Kylian Mbappe next summer is discounted.

Over the course of the summer, Girona signed five City players on loan - Douglas Luiz, Marlos Moreno, Larry Kayode, Aleix Garcia and Pablo Maffeo. What we have done is caught them peeing in the swimming pool.

"Half of the squad left for worldwide duty and they called up reserve players to fill up the group, which is amusing", Bertrand said.

Polk deputies warn criminals, sex offenders not welcome at hurricane shelters
Complaints about the bold vow seem to be coming mostly outside Polk County, given Judd is an incredibly popular sheriff. Horstman defended the policy. "The jail is a safe and secure facility you can seek shelter from the storm there".

'These unworthy remarks are unbefitting an institution as respectable and successful as the Spanish league.

"The LFP recalls that only UEFA is empowered to rule on compliance with the rules of Financial Fair Play by PSG".

Ben Arfa's lawyer, Jean-Jacques Bertrand, claims the club have violated the LFP's Professional Football Charter that states such a measure can only be temporary and for reasons of squad management.

"This is financial doping. Why?"
