Mystikal Reportedly Turned Himself Into Authorities After Being Charged With Rape

Louisiana rapper Mystikal aka Michael Tyler is facing some serious charges in Shreveport. The incidence is alleged to have happened on October 22, 2016, and when investigators collected evidence from the scene, they matched the rapper and a certain 26-year-old called Averweone Holman. The U.S. Marshal's Task Force arrested Holman in Killeen on Friday. Mystikal and Holman also collaborated on Holman's 2015 song "Still in Denial".

Police are still looking for, Tenichia Wafford, 42, of Harker Heights, Texas, who allegedly urged the victim to drop the charges.

Investigators say Wafford faces a charge of accessory after the fact to first-degree rape. However, it is still unclear whether or not the alleged victim stated there was any sexual contact at all among her, Mystikal and another man. The rapper was in Shreveport-Bossier previous year for the "Legends of Southern Hip-Hop" concert. Wafford bail was set to much lower than the two men at $200,000.

Mystikal turned himself into Louisiana police on Monday, August 21, 2017, and was booked on first-degree rape.

Authorities said a woman reported that she was raped at a casino last October.

Wafford was an associate of Mystikal and Holman.
