Police Release Sketch Of Murder Suspect

Police have released a composite sketch of the suspect in the Delphi murder investigation.

The sketch released Monday was created by an artist from information collected by all the agencies, including the FBI, involved in the double-murder investigation.

Liberty German, 14, and Abigail Williams, 13, were found slain on February 14, a day after the two were reported missing after hiking on trails near Delphi, located about 60 miles northwest of Indianapolis. Their bodies were found the next day in nearby woods.

The suspect is described as a white man between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-10, weighing 180-220 pounds, with reddish brown hair, and unknown eye color.

IN investigators on Monday released a new sketch of the suspect in the unsolved slayings of two teenage girls earlier this year.

The sketch depicts a hat, but police aren't sure of that detail's accuracy. She also captured a man's voice saying "down the hill" during what police call "criminal activity". No arrests have been made in the slayings and authorities have not disclosed the cause and manner of the girls' deaths.
