Quentin Tarantino working on Manson murders film

13 July 2017

Tarantino is behind the script and as mentioned above, the now untitled film will be based on the horrific event where Sharon Tate and several others were brutally murdered by Charles Manson and his followers in 1969.

It's also easy to foresee Tarantino finding an entirely new angle on Charles Manson, who has become something of a bogeyman in the years following his incarceration.

Apparently, a script is already in the works and it includes scenes featuring Sharon Tate, Roman Polanski's tragic late wife who fell victim to the Manson cult. (The Hateful Eight was, appropriately, his eighth movie.) Fans have speculated on what we should expect from those last two directorial ventures, fueled in part by Tarantino's own past statements about story ideas.

But Mithali , who had to choose between classical dance and cricket, preferred the latter and clearly has no regrets now. She took two catches against England on Sunday and scored 40 despite being in discomfort, but said she is ready to play.

Charles Manson, an unemployed convict and failed musician, led a murderous cult. Tate, who starred in television and film roles, was identified by police as one of five victims found slain in her Benedict Canyon estate August 9, 1969 in California.

Manson and four of his followers went on to receive life imprisonment, while his group were also found responsible for a number of other killings during the 1960s.

Russia's Rosneft started to lift oil from Libya
The French bank cut its forecasts for Brent by $9 to $51 a barrel for 2017 and by $15 to $48 for 2018. US West Texas Intermediate crude futures were at $44.33 per barrel, up 10 cents, or 0.2 percent.

Details of the script have not been immediately released but Hollywood Reporter said one of the plot points would focus on actress Sharon Tate's murder.

Tate, hailed one of Hollywood's promising stars, was eight-and-a-half months pregnant at the time. It certainly fits his fixation on gruesome violence and malicious characters, but he may have to tread carefully since the story is based on the traumatic events of real people, some of whom are still alive. Although no date has been revealed, THR reported the project may begin filming somewhere around the summer of 2018.
