Ivanka Trump, who does not have any meaningful foreign policy or diplomatic experience, briefly took over for her father at a table of world leaders at the G-20 summit - essentially stepping in as a head of state.

Many critics questioned just why Trump's daughter, who is an official but unpaid adviser to her father, should represent the US on such an important world stage ― albeit for a short period of time.

Instead, Merkel - obviously no fan of Trump - put a damper on the troll party by pointing out the obvious; if anyone in the administration was "qualified" to sit in on a meeting discussing the finance initiative for women entrepreneurs, it was the president's daughter.
