Cincinnati ranked one of the best places to celebrate Independence Day

Warrenton celebrates the Old-Fashioned Fourth of July that begins at 11:00 a.m. with a variety of activities including auto and motorcycle show, children's games and bicycle decorating and barbecue, followed by the Fourth of July Parade on Main Avenue. Fireworks start Friday with the city's Celebrate Lancaster and continue through Quarryville's celebration on July 8.

Powell Gardens will host its annual Booms & Blooms from 2 to 10 p.m. July 1.

Red, White and Blue Ash - Celebrate Independence Day in the northern suburb of Blue Ash with free entertainment starting at 4pm and Rozzi's Famous Fireworks at 10 p.m.

Fireworks, food, and patriotic music are part of July 4 festivities throughout the United States, but beyond that, the observances differ as much as the locations themselves.

The Northglenn/Thornton Rotary Club's 9th Annual Duck Derby race begins at 4 p.m. Ducks are $5 each or five for $20 and can be purchased on the day of the event.
