Simone Biles voted off 'DWTS' despite ideal scores

17 May 2017

I feel like for me that's a win in itself, whether America [voted] for it or not, for me, it's like, 'It's fine.'

Biles told E! she's happy she can finally get some sleep now.

First, Normani and Val danced a Viennese waltz after Len instructed the singer to show him 12 bars in proper hold with "a lovely frame", good posture and the head tilted to the left. We see Simone's back story of being adopted, and choosing gymnastics over being a regular teen; but that's all quickly forgotten when she and Sasha perform a flawless rumba.

Trump signs religious liberty order
Trump promised evangelical voters during the presidential campaign that he would "totally destroy" the law. However, there are also a number of religious groups who have publicly supported Trump and his new order.

"It's okay. I'm just thankful to be at this competition", Simone told Tom. She and Farber earned their only two ideal scores of the season for their jive and rumba and received well-deserved praise from all the judges.

Biles went on to further discuss her reaction to the judge's comments with Entertainment Tonight, saying: "I had tears in my eyes..." It was the Judges' Challenge night on the dancing competition show, and all four remaining stars were in it to win it.

Normani and Val: Once again they are on top of the leaderboard, but are they getting overscored because the judges know that Normani isn't getting as many votes as the other stars?

Noted Journalist Javier Valdez Killed in Mexico's Sinaloa
The National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) said in an email that more must be done to protect reporters in Mexico. By the CPJ's count, 40 journalists have been killed in Mexico for reasons confirmed as related to their work since 1992.

National Football League free agent Rashad Jennings and partner Emma Slater claimed second place on the leaderboard with 77 total points. There was a little stumble, but the judges still loved it. Normani earned 36 out of 40 points. But in a shocking turn of events, she was voted off at the end of the show. Goodman stood up and applauded her while Bruno Tonioli called her a diva and a star.

Simone Biles performs on Dancing with the Stars on April 10, 2017. Carrie Ann appreciated that the dance was passionate and artistic without being sexual; and Julianne complimented both Rashad and Emma on the trust they show one another as partners, which translates into great dancing for us. For their second, they'll be performing a Jazz routine to "What A Wonderful World" by Ray Charles. "I need an address, where you're going on a date, what kind of men this is going to be, there's no drinking involved because she's not even 21 yet". "That dance was outstanding", Julianne gushed, while Carrie Ann praised their teamwork.

Rafael Nadal wins fifth Madrid Open title
Djokovic hasn't reached a final since winning his first tournament of the year in Doha in January. I really enjoy these tournaments.
