Trump offered his view of the way his communications staff is received at the daily White House press briefings: "They're asked 100 questions, or 50 questions, or 20 questions - if they get one out of 50, just a little bit off, 5 percent, 10 percent, 20 percent, it's - the next day, it's a front page story in every newspaper". A reporter then noted that he was "hiding in the bushes" outside the window - and there was McCarthy, peering through the glass.
"Have you ever told me to say things that aren't true?" "How do we know?"
"We don't have press conferences", Trump told Pirro. "You like when I do that?"
After continued interrogation on Russian Federation and Comey, an exasperated Spicer told the press corp., "I am being straight with you".
SoftBank marks $1.4-billion loss
However, SoftBank said that there was no impact of the loss on the company's consolidated financial results in 2016-17. There has never been a better time for SoftBank - the orchestrator of the merger - to push through with the deal.
"Let me just put this whole Russian thing to bed once and for all, Trump is innocent", McCarthy's press secretary said.
Of course, the show didn't waste the opportunity to also invite back McCarthy's scene-stealing impersonation of White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, depicted as the fraught, yelling, podium-grabbing buffoon that we all basically conceive him to be.
When Spicer's job security is questioned, she drove her motorized podium to Trump, played, as always, by Alec Baldwin, who doesn't do much to reassure her. Baldwin's Trump replies, "Only since you started working here". The media is now abuzz with rumors that Trump, unhappy with the outrage over his firing of Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey, might order Spicer to clean out his desk. If he does, there will be a certain sadness in not seeing McCarthy mocking him on SNL.
Saturday's episode opened with a bang, beginning with a parody of a President Trump's NBC News interview with Lester Holt Thursday. In the skit, Spicer is fielding questions from reporters about Trump's alleged ties with Russian Federation. "I took vows", McCarthy replied.
Rafael Nadal beats Novak Djokovic in straight sets to reach Madrid final
I made a lot of unforced errors, especially in the first set, said Djokovic, "I felt like I was playing well throughout the week". And this 50th meeting was, of course, to be played both on clay and in front of an adoring Spanish Caja Magica.
A sample of the comments flowing into social media about the SNL kiss heard around the world between the sketch comedy's version of Mr. Trump and Spicer can be read below. Spicer confronts Trump about his potential firing, but the two end up literally making out. When Spicer finds Trump, Trump makes a move on him. "They're saying you're going to fire me for Sarah", McCarthy said.
Spicer asks if he's being fired and replaced by his deputy, Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
"Is this like The Godfather where you kiss me and nobody ever sees him again?" he asked worriedly.
UK Labour leader accuses Theresa May of 'pandering' to Trump
As Nigel Farage has said, Theresa May is now using the exact words and phrases he has been using for the last 20 years. Miss Abbott last month suggested that around two-thirds of Labour support was down to the popularity of Mr Corbyn .
